I became a massage therapist because I am interested in healthful, alternative therapies to treat chronic pain. My treatments can range from light to very deep depending on your condition and your preference. The average massage is focused on deep relaxation with a therapeutic focus on areas of tension. I work quite often with senior citizens and am honored to be able to connect with them;(probably because I'm not too far behind) and I enjoy working to ease their pain whenever possible.
I am a New York State Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I have an Associates Degree from The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy, New York, NY (2002) and I have also completed Certification classes in Reflexology (2003). Other training includes Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Cancer, HIV, Hospice, Breast Cancer massage, Lymphatic drainage; Muscle tendon and ligament injuries of the cervical spine, shoulder, low back, and knee with Dr. Ben Benjamin.
I look forward to meeting with you.
